Ying "Wannie" Wang

Wannie was originally from Taiwan and more recently Los Angeles, California.  She started as a Jeffrey Campbell Fellow at St. Lawrence University in 2006 and now an assistant professor in the Education Department.  She is currently teaching courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs.  She also supervises student teaching.

Wannie's research interests include curriculum development, multicultural and international education, immigrant students, and qualitative inquires in educational research.  She had participated in numbers of projects of the Kuumba Learning Model (Donaldson & Tartakov, 1997), an award-winning, innovative, and cross-cultural learning model that centers on creativity to address issues in educational equality.

Wannie received her Ed.D. in Cross Cultural Studies in Higher Education from Alliant International University in San Francisco, California.  She also holds a B.A. in Chinese Literature and has received graduate-level training in interpersonal communication.  She practices yoga, enjoys music and movies, and loves dogs.
